My wife drew a DG9 tag (rifle deer) this year. I have never hunted on the reservation but i know there are some good bucks out there. I do know that the deer are in pockets, and don't migrate too far. I will keep yall posted as it gets closer. Good luck.

the news stations reported that the south rim got 55" of snow. here in Tusayan, there is a BUNCH! it is forecasted that we will be seeing more this afternoon into thurs. i would guess that that the FS roads will remain closed thru march. azsagebrush

no word on unit 10 but i did see a guy with a 160 inch 4 point "rag" horn in unit 9. i also talked to 2 guys that were walk back to get their truck to load a 5 x 6 a young boy in their camp killed sat. night. azsagebrush

i don't have a tag, i just live in the "gardern of eden". i do have a few friends that have tags, and it is real funny i'm finding that i have friends that i have never met that have tags too.

they are starting to bugle in unit 9. there was about a 300" 6pt that had his 4th broke off. i have seen alot of wallows and muddy bulls,it won't be long til UFC starts.
