I threw my name in the hat during the second draw for a 54 antelope tag. I was shocked to find out I drew. I'm now realizing that finding out late in August puts me behind a bit. If anyone has any tips for this unit, I'm all ears? I'll be heading out the second weekend in October.

If their plan is to grow the company bigger than it already is, I don't see that as being a good thing at all. The business model is not one that gets better with more growth. I've been a member for around 10 years and I'll be done if I see too many changes.

Several times she says that bonus points don't change the average, but more hunters get to experience the average. That is exactly why we need a bonus point system! More people will get to draw tags because fewer people will draw multiple times. Combine that with a few of the other methods...

I'm not posted above, but I think most archers think about shot placement. 1/2 inch is a big deal at 20 yards.

WOW!!! I showed this to my wife and now she'll never go bear hunting with me. That is one of the most aggressive bears I've ever seen. I wouldn't want to be on the ground with it lurking around.

Idaho doesn't really have a lot of "primitive" weapon hunts, and even fewer muzzleloader exclusive hunts. Good luck finding one. If you want a little help, pm me and I might be able to steer you in a suitable direction.

I think it's more than fair for the nonresidents to have the exact same odds as me going into any LE draw. I don't see a valid point in holding two separate draws. That being said, I fully support Idaho adopting a bonus point system. To say a bonus point system is "unfair" doesn't make sense to me.

I bought a package of Ulmers because I heard good things. First time shooting them I clipped the back of another arrow and the blade snapped off. It hardly even left a mark in the other arrow. What would have happened if it had hit bone? Needless to say, I wasn't impressed.
