Went clear to the state line up high yesterday and it never got over 4" max. At mid elevations it was melting like crazy. Elk is right, looks stormy outside right now and could put some snow down, but doubt it will make for a ruined hunt. From what I saw, you shouldn't need to leave the tracks...

Nevermind... he made it! I did see a pic today of a 39" bruiser non typ taken in CO. I don't have any details... friend of a friend's uncle's brother's cousin's dad's deal, but the pic was awesome.

I just want to see pictures and hear a score, story, etc. I wish they wouldn't be quiet if he in fact is dead. However, he has died in the past... according to rumor; and showed up again in June.

Heard from a hunter that was checked by fish cops while hunting near Rangely. The officer told him that somebody had killed the "salt shack buck"... I think that tells me what I wanted to know.

That's what I keep hearing, but nobody can produce a story or pics.

So I didn't want to point out the flaws with previous post... thus the request for pm. However, I will agree with other statements... sloooow. I couldn't be happier with the gun, but if you are in a hurry maybe not the right place for you. He's a hell of a machinist though.
