I burned 18 points and hunted WB 2 years ago. Great hunt. I wouldn’t wait for Hart. Many of the animals go back and forth between the units. If you draw PM me and I’ll send you a map where I found bucks. A quad or UTV is ideal for hunting. You can do it in a truck but will be a rough, slow ride.

I am heading to unit 3 on Saturday to look for a bull.

The raffle tag hunter killed a ram in there. The statewide auction and raffle tags alternate years they can hunt unit 11. Even years go to raffle tag. The draw tag went unused, he did not know he had been selected. I was told IFG is issuing a tag to him for 2014.

I have hunted both states several times and Oregon will become you backup plan after you have. :-) Points are important to drawing good tags in both. You can still buy points in Wyoming this year that will help you in 2014. $30-Antelope, $40-Deer, $50-Elk.

I drew south blues, but probably won't be hunting much since I tore my ACL a couple weeks ago.

I found an elk shed sticking out of the ground at about a 45 degree angle. It appeared like the bull stuck it in the ground on purpose and dropped it.

Last year we hunted the last 3 days of September and saw bucks chasing/fighting alot and on does every day. Seems like we had to be close to the "peak".

Nice antelope! He is really heavy. I can relate to your comment. I hunted antelope in WY this year. I got to the point where I wished there were fewer bucks to look at. One day we saw 168 different bucks! It is a really fun hunt.

Awesome looking cat! Charlie did a great job on a mountain lion for me. The most important thing is the eyes!

I just got back from SW WY. My B-I-L had a tag. I was shocked how many of the bigger bulls were busted up. We found a main beam that had been broken off below the sword tine laying on the ground while hunting. One of the bulls we saw had long brow tines and busted off above that on both sides.

I hunted 53 last year for deer and picked up a cow tag. I would recomend having an elk tag-I saw probably 50 and really only focused on them one day to kill a cow. Have a great hunt!

I drew 59-1 for antelope. Anyone hunted goats there before? I have hunted the unit just South of it; 112.

Very nice! Lots of character. Do you know what causes the acorns? I have found a few that way and they always appear to have wood in them. I assumed the deer or elk had impaled the antler on a tree branch and the horn just grew around it.
