Antler point restrictions are a great way to have a lot of little tiny bucks.....

They usually start around Thanksgiving (Late November) and are finished by mid-December.

Hunting within the external boundaries of the Reservation is only allowed on a state license on non-indian owned fee deeded land. There is no hunting by non-tribal members elsewhere on the reservation.

Keep in mind that state land in Wyoming is not considered public land...

I'd like someone to explain what those drastic measures would look like. I haven't see the G&F set a season to reduce deer numbers in 20 years.....what can be done to help the numbers grow, except a change in mother nature's attitude?

However......realize you will rarely satisfy the awful hunter.....

I heard Wyoming is losing a game warden in Riverton, and due to budget cuts there are no plans to refill it anytime soon..

...and most with illegal ammo.

The sheriff's offices are typically issuing citations under a different law, not G&F trespass.

In Wyoming, corner crossing is legal under the game and fish trespass law, but likely not under the criminal trespass law.....

I saw 80 head in the northeast corner of 100 near Cyclone Rim this weekend.....

I believe if you do your research you will find that this license fee increase will only just about cover the cost of inflation over the past 5 years.....price of fuel for trucks/equipment, price of hay for elk feedgrounds, fish food for hatcheries, costs of health insurance for state employees...

You are right and I've already made the contact. My fear is that folks won't update their chips often enough to keep them out of trouble. I plan to update mine yearly, but I still don't really trust it. Thanks for the info.
