Lucky, Hunted it only once, first trip was a scouting trip wrapped into a longer summer vacation trip. 2Lumpy was of great help along with a few others.

We got him south of manning res. It seemed to us like we were the only ones elk huting. We met 1 deer hunter and that was on the road. you may have passed our camp many times.

WOW, that's amazing. I can't believe that I could draw a 2009 tag and not have to buy a new license.....Dang, they must have skipped class on the day they taught Government agencies how to get as much money as possible out of it's users!

Back in the old days, there were lot's of bows that had sights attached to them. Most were long 62+ inches but were also heavy enough to hunt with. Any recurve that is tapped on the riser for a quiver will take a sight there as well. Now, having said that, at least try instictive for a month...

I concur with your statement that, in your eyes, it's unethical. I have the same ethic in this instince as long as I'm sure it's mortally wounded. Having said that and despite the unanimous posts so far, I really think most hunters have no ethical problem losing one and shooting another...

It's kinda fun except for us when we get back tothe west side of Washington and roll into Bellevue/Seattle. A whole lot of waving going on, but it's usually a single finger wave. We cover-up on the pass and try not to draw too much attention the rest of the way home.

The whole thing has been BAD from the get-go. Do away with it and put the 200 tags back into the pool.
