My son drew the Oct tag for this unit. I wanted to know if anyone could share any info on the unit. I have been in there twice for Javelina but not for deer. My focus has been off bloody basin road for the area. Is that a good starting place? Thanks for any info in advance! Steve

Since i have an elk tag in this unit and bear season is in the same time frame. Does this mean I can purchase an otc tag for bear and hunt them as well? Thanks, Steve

Just curious on what you all think will be the highlight of this season. I've heard it will be an early rutt because of the weather and other seem to think it will be heavy through Arch/Rif/Muzz. With plans on a 2nd season hunt what are some of your thoughts? Will the Buls still be screaming?

In the regs it says that you cannot hunt bear during deer or elk season unless you have a deer or elk tag for that unit. Does the tag need to be aquired through the draw? I know deer is draw only but if I had an OTC Elk tag does that mean I could hunt bear also?

Here's the buck my buddy took during 2nd season. The deer were all over and literaly a pick and choose. He was the bigger of 4 bucks but the bigger one did not present the shot! Great hunt though!
