Light rain in ND won't change them much as they are used to the rain here. I've bow hunted them many times in nodak and about the only thing they don't like is really heavy wind and rain. One thing that can help is mid day thunderstorm and if it clears out before night and the sun comes out...

High 160 low 170 id guess. I've got a buck that looks almost identical to him and he was 170" gross on the nuts. Hard to tell with the velvet on but non the less a shooter for sure

Ok sounds like a lower magnified/lighter scope is what I will start looking at. What is the major differences between the leupold CDS and the swarovski ballistic turret for those of you who have used either or both of them?

My first elk I ever killed was dropped in his tracks with my old .270 at 300 yards so a 300 wsm would definitely kill an elk. I like using Remington model 700 rifles and have always done well with them but am now recently starting to build my own gun.

I lucked out and drew a Nevada Mule deer tag for rifle in unit 241-245. I was wondering if any of you have hunted this unit before and have pictures of deer that have been shot there or what to expect? Being from North Dakota I will be looking to go guided so any help with what guides are good...

nice. had them do that to us yesterday but we were shooting them with guns instead.

if it was shot before they started the plus thing i dont think they need it plugged. my grandpa asked the sheep biologist in nd here and he said they are kind of just grandfathered in because he has some that are unplugged also. that could just be north dakota rules tho...

what would be a good video camera to buy for waterfowl?? im looking for a camera with 2000$ or less and if it comes in a kit or something maybe like $2500ish. would like to also get one that you can put a waterproof camoflauged case on it. thanks

when me and my buddy do this. we have one guy running the decoy with the range finder... the guy running the decoy tells the person (straight behind him until the antelope is charging) exactly were the antelope is and range. if you are wanting to see the antelope. look underneath the decoy not...

when they run away in herds or whatever you call them.... i always see the does go under the fence and the buck jumps over...

here in north dakota for bow hunting with a decoy we try and go when the rut is full bore. they seem more fired up and aggressive and like to try and attack the decoy.

yep way too much for me... i think ill be applying for idaho instead of wyomging then.

but putting in for wyoming how much do you have to send in to apply? to me it seems like you have to send in the full $1,901 just to apply then they send $1,801 back to you with 1 pref. point say if you are starting... or am i wrong?

which of the 2 states would any of you rather apply for for better drawing odds? wyoming or idaho?
