manfrotto carbon tripod!!! i had the 128 fluid head, its nice but heavy. got the Outdoorsmans pistol grip with panning attachment. love it!!!!! look at hardcoreoutdoor.com. Wade shows great info and pics of tripods

sitka ascent pants are good but the Kuiu attack is the best pant i have. i've used North Face, REI, Mountain Hardware and Kuiu is my fav.

i have both and you can't go wrong either way. the surefire is awesome but it will burn out quick if turned all the way up. i just keep it turned lower than full blast and it lasts for a good while, i just keep spare batteries in the pack

Leica makes one that has a rubber strap that goes over the binos. works great. pricey. zeiss makes one as well

i'd hold out for one of the big 3. you can find some good deals out there. i started with leupold then vortex and now swarovski. i was never happy til i got some of the best. wasted a bunch of money in the beginning.

i have this headlamp and agree, it's awesome and well worth the money!

i have the badlands and love mine. once it's on i really forget about it. when you have pricey glass it's nice to be protected when on the move.

wanted, i have the swarovision and it is the best purchase i've made in hunting equipment. the low light performance is nothing short of amazing. i really can't see the rolling ball effect. i love these binos. fatrooster makes a good point, sell the 15's and get a spotter.

the best spotter is useless if you have a crappy tripod. had a swaro spotter and used a cheap tripod that my brother had and it shook so bad i couldn't see a thing. got a manfrotto and it is steady as a rock. i got the carbon manfrotto and love it. The Outdoorsmans tripod is the best as far...

i agree, just use them. have had leupold cascade's and vortex razor's and the swarovisions blow them away. looking at dusk across a field i am amazed. try to mount them on a tripod to really see them shine. you made a great purchase!

decided to get the outdoorsmans tripod adapter for my EL Swarovisions. Just wanted to get opinions from guys that have it. is it sturdy? thanks for the feedback.

called swarovski, they said the new ones have more settings on the twist eye cups (one more turn). they are free. also said that the winged eye cups will be out soon!

i have the carbon fiber 190 manfrotto and love it, but for packing i would look at the Outdoorsmans tripods, they are pricey but i think they would be better if you packed in. if i had it to do all over again i would get the outdoorsmans. good luck, phillip

i have the manfrotto cx190 which is a carbon fiber. it is a nice tripod, used it for 80 mm swarovski. it is really stable, but having said that if i had it to do over again i would go with the tripod that The Outdoorsmans makes. my manfrotto and the pan head is just a little heavy for...

zeiss, leica and swarovski all make tripod mounts that will hold your leupolds. look at cameraland and they have the zeiss as a demo for 99. and also have the leica.
