I got a savage 7mm-08 for my kid to shoot. Great cartridge that can be loaded down for deer and up for elk. Great gun, tack driver, acutrigger. Would recommend checking it out.

I use one on my Triumph. Love it. I like the reticle better than the Nikon and the eye relief is great. Would recommend getting one.

Not huge, but a nice mature 2X2 I took last year in NM. Biggest one I had seen. I thought it was pretty unique. I have never been a big trophy hunter anyway, but I certainly wouldn't hesitate on a large 2X2 again.
