Troy, I was out there last week deer hunting and we saw a group of about 40 elk. There was probably 8 bulls but they were all small ones. Did you guys do any scouting in there for your sons hunt? Good luck on your brothers hunt.

Troy are you going down to watch the draw this year? I have been really lucky with drawing some great tags. I just hope I know some one that draws a sheep tag or I draw my archery cow tag so I can take my daughter hunting.

EH, I am guessing the goats aren't doing too well in 101 & 102 also, so the biologist is recomending to cut the tags. As for the Rockys the tags are for different areas that haven't had a die off recently and NDOW is recomending 5 tags.

ducksbucksandbulls, I don't think NV will follow Utah's elk managemant. NDOW proposed not to have any rifle rut hunts except in 091 and thats because you can hunt in Utah. I was surpized when I saw there was the rut rifle hunts when the seasons came out. Good luck in the draw.
