Now that the 2023 buck seasons are over, what is the outlook from those that hunted Colorado outside of the extreme northwest corner? Is the sky falling or was there still good bucks running around the land scape if you hunted hard and put in the days and the time? My son's did not draw in 2023...

Just back last night after 7 days on mountain with son. Seen this buck on second day. Killed him this morning after looking at 50+ 4x4's. Several hundred bucks. Probably 80+ 3 pointers or better. 15 or so that was them that made you think about them. That buck has 42 3/4 inches of mass.

Today is the opener of the Delores rifle hunt. Any luck or MM'ers on the unit? With the weather, wondering if many of the bucks have moved over from Colorado unit 40. Hope the hunt is successful for anyone with a tag. Hope they move soon. Son has one of the 4 muzzy tags in there in a week and...
