Deadline for harvest reporting is February 15, but sheep season goes through the end of the month. I'm getting prompted to submit my harvest result before applying for hunts. Anybody got clarification from NMG&F on this reporting deadline?

Just got done speaking in regards to eliminating the Q/HD rule at the G&F meeting in Hobbs. I spoke the full 3 minutes allowed and after all was said and done...the commission eliminated the Q/HD and antelope rule.

The NMG&F website at one point in time had an actual breakdown of estimated elk populations by unit and harvest objectives. The last time I accessed it was last year and I was wanting to look at it again and couldn't find it. Has anybody found it on the website lately?

Has the "Signature Page" been eliminated from the drawing process? I completed the online application and the signature page was not included as it was last year. Main reason I'm asking is because of proposed legislation on the NMG&F website requesting the elimation of the signature page.

I was looking to lighten my Remington BDL 300 RUM by replacing the stock and in need of suggestions towards which one to get. Probably not a good idea to get a lighter stock, but I'm big enough that the recoil shouldn't bother me. Would it be worth while to do so, or should I just stick it out...

If you only had two choices for your deer hunt...which one would you go on: October 23-27 (5 day Muzzleloader) or November 9-11 (3 day Rifle)? There is a later 4 day hunt, but due to work I can't go on that one. P.S. Keep in mind there is a 3 point antler restriction for these hunts.
