My wife has a tag and I have made a few scouting trips. Seen a few deer. I have hunted a lot of different states and I know deer come in all sizes. I don't want to over judge them so how big are the ears in this neck of the woods? How would you compare them to say Northern Utah/Southern Idaho?

What cover are any of you using on this scope. Would like to find something similar to the Kings swaro model. Or does the kings swaro model fit? Anyone try it.

I am going to buy a new pair of 10x42 and I have saved the money to buy any of them. I have looked and I do think the Swaro's are better glass. But my financial brain is having a hard time with the price. So the question is do you really feel the better glass is worth 2x the price.

Inside main beam. It says to measure at the widest point. Question is if the antlers lets say are "V" shaped "mains flare out" do you take the tip to tip as inside main beam as it is the widest point of the main beams or do you center across the 4ths area.

Well, here is my 07 buck from Nevada. He 3x3 with 27.5 at his g3 and has 5.5 bases. I saw some bucks driving out of my area a couple yrs ago and it payed off for me this yr. Shot at 56 yds right behind shoulder. He ran no more than 150yds stopped and dropped dead.

Well the archery seasons are fast aproching and a lot of tags will be wrapped around some trophies in full velvet. What methodes of curring have you used and what do you think is the best method.

I have an area 7 muzzy tag and my plans may be changing so I might be looking for a locker to keep my quarters for a few days max say 2 weeks. Can anyone give me a clue on possible places in Wells NV. to store the meat. I like to cut my own when I get home.

Ok got my Omega and my Williams Peep for it. I installed it in the last set of scope holes and it looks ok. My question is the next set of holes is very close and has anyone used them. It would only move the sight forward a little. Just wondering what everyone has done with their Peep?
