Back when I was ten years old in 2000 ish and lived in az I put in for hunts and was unsuccessful in drawing. Now I am wanting to apply as a non resident for elk. Is there any chance I have a point from way back when or do I just start with 0 now. Just being hopeful they can recover it?

I have a friend who runs trail cameras and he has recently put a salt block in front of one to help stop the animals as it's on a trail. My question is, is it legal to put salt out in new mexico? Is it considered baiting?

Anybody got any info for the cow hunt this weekend? scouting has produced very little the last few weekends. just curious where they went from the archery seasons when they were everywhere.

how has the closure effected elk hunting in the rest of the unit or is the access still pretty good. i was just up there and was surprised to find it closed so close to town.

anybody been over there lately, just wondering how the archery hunts are shaping up, hopefully i'll get a day of scouting in on friday.

I am currently shooting longer 3-4 inch vanes and am considering going to the blazer vanes, will this affect my shot placement at all, also i am having trouble with my wisker biscuit cutting the longer vanes after shooting them alot, will the blazer vanes do better with the wisker biscuit?
